Manchester United and Liverpool secure consecutive wins

Manchester United secured a fourth consecutive winin the EPL with a 2-1 win over Stoke City at old Trafford. Van Gaal was thankful to the Spanish Goal Keeper, Victor De Gea, with a lot of stoppage time saves to secure the win. It started when Maroune Fellaini met Ander Herrera’s cross with a header to give the home team the lead.


Stoke City equalized with a thunder shot from Steven Nzonzi, but later ended when Juan Mata curled in afree kick which seemed to have gotten a touch off Marcos to put United 2-1. De Gea made a point blank save off Mame Diouf and Ashley Young made a goal-line clearance to help them preserve all three points.
While Liverpool came back to winning ways with 3-1 victory over bottom placed club Leicester city, which help them secure two consecutive wins. Argentine, Fernando Ulloa had given the home team the lead after his shot came back off the post hitting Mignolet and going back into the net. Then Lallana scored from Rickie Lambert’s knockdown.

While Steven Gerrard sends in the second with a loss touch from Wes Morgan, Jordan Henderson guided in Raheem Sterling’s clever back-heel to seal the 3-1 victory.
