FANI ENCOURAGES KANU

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister, has put pen to paper and wrote to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), after his supporters had confrontations with security operatives.

In the letter, Fani-Kayode noted that the alleged invasion of Kanu’s home was meant to silence the chief agitator, but that those who reportedly planned it do not understand that it would only increase the crisis. He encourage the leader to remain steadfast in his agitation and not be discouraged in spite of efforts to intimidate him.

He, however urged the IPOB leader to operate peacefully and reject the idea of an armed struggle since he represents the hope and aspiration of millions.
