Tragedy stroke University of Benin, leaving one dead

Disaster hit the University of Benin during a jean carnival that was intended to be a fun fair activity. The fun fair was organized for final-year students of the Faculty of Physical Sciences at the 1000-Lecture Theatre field of the faculty.


Reports reaching us made it known that Gbenedio Ejyroghene, a 300-level student of the Department of Chemistry, was shot down by an unknown shooter on Friday, October 24 at the Ugbowo campus. As the funfair rent the air until about 7 pm when this tragedy stroke the venue and unexpected gunmen made their way in and shoot the young man, who was also at the locale.
Withal, the corpse of the young man were deposited at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. And he couldn't survive the accident, and then he went along almost instantly.
