NLC warns FG over Tambuwal

Sound of warning has been expressed by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC over Aminu Tambuwal, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to the Federal Government and security operatives. They insisted that noting should happen to him, it was an issued statement from the NLC president, Abdulwahid Omar.
A copy of this statement by the president was obtained from the Premium Times. He reacted to the withdrawal of Tambuwal’s security details that it was shameful, distasteful, and unconstitutional. This withdrawal was initiated due to his defection from the ruling party PDP tp the opposition party APC.

Meanwhile, the security withdrawal of the Speaker has generated a lot of criticism from political, labour, and human rights groups including the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, and now the NLC. Incentives have been moving towards the President office, since people believed that the acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba reports to the President.
