Protesting concerning the release of the Chibok girls were the members of the women's wing of All Progressives Congress, Ondo State chapter. The women took to the streets of Akure on Tuesday to agitate the sect, Boko Haram to release these young ladies.
They did this protest with a progression of vehicles from Adegbemile center through Oba Adesida-Oyemekun Road to Ilesa Garage. They were clothed in scarlet uniforms and having carrying with different inscriptions, posters. Mrs. Kehinde Adeniran who led a thousand of these women, made their grievances known to their APC state chairman in the soul of Isaac Kekemeke. Prayers were offered to God for the liberation of these school girls in different languages.
Mrs. Adeniran said, “We added up as mothers with bitterness and anger, we are experiencing the pains of missing these innocent young girls in their respective homes in the past half dozen months. We were led astray by the Federal Government to the abducted young women would be discharged last Monday, but as of today, there is no intimation of their whereabouts.”
