Jonathan lands in Israel for pilgrimage

On October 25, 2014, Saturday, the number one citizen of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan landed in Jerusalem, Israel, for a two-day pilgrimage. Activities were arranged for the President which part of it is for him to observe the Sabbath Day at the Wailing Wall. Later, he will travel to Mount Tabor and Mount Carmel with other holy sites in the pilgrimage.

He will likewise be in a prayer session with the theme “A day with Jesus for Nigeria in Israel” at the Interdenominational Church Service. High ranking officials from Nigeria was also examined with the president, with the Ambassador of Nigeria to Israel, Davi Obasa, welcoming them at the David Ben Gurion International Airport, Tel Aviv.
Among the officials spotted are Governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano of Anambra, Brig. Gen. Jones Arogbofa, the Chief of Staff, and John-Kennedy Opara, Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission. Other to join the president are Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Ven. Obioma Onwuzurumba, Chaplain of the Presidential Villa, and Sen. Smart Adeyemi, Chairman, Senate Committee on FCT.
