
Dr Olusegun Aganga, the minister of Industry, Trade and Investment has made open plans the FG has to make Nigeria goods and products attractive, so as to have increased expenditure of it. According to his statement which reads “we must ensure that what we produce locally have great standards that can attract local patronage. If you don’t patronize made in Nigeria goods, where will the job opportunities come from?”
He likewise added that the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) will collaborate with FG on policies to actualize this dream for the Manufacturing sector.
However, this will encourage more people to venture into the sector especially young ones. He made these plans open to the public when he visited the pre-commissioning of the cold roll mill project of Kam Industries Nigeria Limited in Ilorin, with an industrial revolution plan in the luggage of the FG to implement. This will boost the economy and drop down prices of goods and have a lasting effect on the citizens of the country.
