
The President also employed the aspirant to take his presidential campaign with greater respect for the accuracy. Making this known to the public was the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity; Dr. Reuben Abati described the state of the aspirant as reckless and unwarranted.
He said that, “We have noted with disappointment and regret, the reckless, baseless and insupportable charges made against the Jonathan Administration yesterday by a supposed elder statesman, General Muhammadu Buhari. We totally reject the allegations made by General Buhari against the Jonathan administration at the announcement of his intention to contest the 2015 presidential elections as an irresponsible denigration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s sincere efforts, over the past four years, to positively transform Nigeria”
Holding onto the statement of statistics and rankings from the National Bureau of Statistics, the Central Bank of Nigeria, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other international economic agencies, faults the statement of the aspirant.
